Description
This 1950s 14k gold-filled Omega Seamaster automatic winding vintage watch is extremely striking! The completely original jet-black dial with raised gold markers, Dauphine hands, and sweep second reminds me of a Patek Philippe Calatrava in its style, elegance, and simplicity. The 34mm, signed, Omega case is in excellent condition with no dings or scratches. The stainless steel sea-monster screw-back is also glistening. The superior-quality, caliber 591 rotor automatic winding Omega movement is keeping time very well. We obtained this watch from the original owner who said he only had the watch cleaned over the years but rarely wore it; he only wore it on special occasions. He never replaced the winding crown, which leads us to believe it is original. Omega did not always sign their crowns. We have included an original (later), gold-plated Omega buckle (that looks great) to complete the look. Note, in the pictures there is some rouge that remains on the case from a gentle hand polishing, but it has been removed.
