Description
This 1950s vintage Rolex Precision Dustproof is an uncommon Rolex dress watch, having an original contract case made for Rolex in Canada. The gold-plated 35.5mm case with interesting ‘horn’ lugs retains the original Rolex-signed stainless steel screw back. These watches came with an unsigned dustproof-style winding crown. The manual winding Rolex movement was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time. The dial was expertly restored, while retaining the original sword-style hands, blued steel sweep seconds, and raised gold-toned 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, 9:00 Explorer-style Arabic markers. Canadian-version Rolex watches are very interesting to collect and becoming harder to find.
