Description
Here is an all-original and rather uncommon 1953 Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 6084 in stainless steel, measuring 34.5mm across and retaining the original Rolex cross-style (Brevet) winding crown. The steel case is in very fine shape all around. The dial is completely original and refined in appearance, having pink triangular markers and matching Lance-style re-lumed hands and sweep seconds. The original dial has mellowed evenly to a warm and creamy glow that really looks wonderful on the wrist! Finding original dials on these watches is becoming quite rare. The semi-bubbleback uses the Rolex bubbleback self-winding NA movement; this one was just cleaned, overhauled, and is accurate. The semi bubblebacks are preferred by many collectors over the regular bubbleback due to its larger size and classic design.
