Description
Here is a 1954 Omega Constellation that has essentially never been worn! We purchased this watch from the original owner who said the watch was stored for decades and discovered wrapped in a drawer after he thought it was lost! The 35mm case retains razor-sharp edges and a beveled bezel with original winding crown and hesalite Omega crystal. The pressure case back is scratchless, with the solid-gold observatory logo being sharp (like-new) and even has patina! The case is gold-capped with a stainless steel back. The chronometer-grade caliber 501 Omega movement is sparkling and accurate after its recent cleaning and dismantling. This quadrant dial is spectacular – original and pristine, with raised gold-toned markers and Dauphine hands. We have included a vintage Omega box to complete the look.
