Here is an uncommon vintage 33.5mm 1956 Omega Century being all-original including the signed, contract case, raised gold-coloured dagger markers, original (desirable) raised linen black quadrant dial with gold gilt print and uncommon, raised gold Explorer-style 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, 9:00 Arabic numerals. This dial has aged to a slightly lighter tone of black. The original, gold-filled snap-back case is very nice, having no wear on the gold fill. Note this is the correct, Star contract case supplied to Omega and was always used for the Century. The manual winding caliber 284 gilt Omega movement has been cleaned and is accurate. The Omega Century is a very uncommon name and is hard to find as it was produced mainly for the Canadian market.
