Finding steel Omega watches with original black dials is becoming very difficult. This 1956 Omega Seamaster is a treat, with its completely original and beautifully aged black dial having gentle and even spotting. This is a quadrant dial, having silver gilt print with Arabic steel markers and raised steel minute markers. The Omega winding crown is correct. The steel Dauphine hands are correct. The caliber 500 Omega movement (adjusted to two positions) was just meticulously cleaned and is accurate. The 34mm stainless steel case gleams. I believe these Omegas are a great value at this time.
