This is the first Rolex Oyster-Perpetual Deepsea! This is a rare watch that is seldom found with an original dial! This watch was only produced for about a year (in 1956) and is housed in the signed 1956 stainless steel flat-sided case measuring 33mm. I love this original suntanned dial with 3:00, 6:00, 9:00 Explorer-style configuration and Dauphine hands with blued steel sweep seconds! We installed a new winding crown and tube (exact same as the original) during the cleaning. The crown screws down perfectly (not shown in the picture). The automatic winding caliber 1030 movement was just cleaned and is accurately maintaining time. Don’t be fooled by other watches posted on the net with ref. 6532 cases as many simply add the word Deepsea to the dial and pass them off as originals.
