Description
This is a ref. 6564 Rolex Oyster Perpetual dating to 1956. The 34mm stainless steel case sparkles, without any dings or major scratches. The dial is completely original with a gentle patina that lends a wonderful vintage look. Notice the original Dauphine hands and blued steel sweep seconds. The Rolex Oyster winding crown fastens smoothly. The Rolex Oyster bracelet is the correct riveted style – in very fine shape and dates to 1964. The caliber 1030 25-jewel automatic movement with butterfly rotor was just cleaned and is accurate. The ref. 6564 was produced for a very short time period. We have only found them dating to 1956 whilst dealing in watches for over 20 years.
