Description
This is an early Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust ref. 6605 from 1958 that still retains its original timing certificate issued by Rolex, which is a rare find. This 36mm stainless steel case with uncommon rose-gold bezel sparkles! In real life, this watch appears cleaner than in my close-up pictures. The original dial has mellowed quite nicely, while retaining the original rose-toned Dauphine hands and matching markers. The automatic winding Rolex movement was recently cleaned and is accurately keeping time. This particular watch has the desirable red-and-black-alternating ‘roulette’ date feature.
