Description
This is an all-original Eterna-Matic Birks KonTiki vintage watch dating to about 1959. The stainless steel case measures 36.5mm. The ship insignia and serial number on the screw-back case are both clear and crisp, despite the photo being washed out. The Eterna-Matic bracelet looks great and shows minimal stretch for its age. The case, having inwardly curved and beveled lugs, remains unpolished, with a tiny ding on the lower right lug. This completely original gilt, glossy black dial is a stunner. The print on the dial displays gold gilt and the “Birks” (retailer) is in siver. This dial is amazingly clean.
