This 1959 Rolex Oysterdate is absolutely stunning. The pictures say it all. This 34mm stainless steel Rolex Oyster case looks amazing and retains much detail. The dial has gently aged to an eggshell tone and looks spectacular. Notice the raised arrow markers and large Rolex raised logo… I love it. The date is the desirable roulette style (alternating red to black). The steel Dauphine-style hands are very clean along with the blued steel sweep seconds. This manual winding robust and reliable Rolex movement was just cleaned and is accurate. These manual winding vintage Rolex watches have fewer parts than the automatics and are very inexpensive to maintain over the decades. It is so difficult to find such a clean original dial and case on such a fine old watch.
