Description
This is a very hard-to-find Hamilton Flight II manual winding vintage watch from about 1960. Only 2000 of these very exaggerated-cased Hamiltons were produced, measuring 29x33mm in gold fill. You can imagine, many of these watches have gone missing or been destroyed over the years, lending to the extreme rarity of these watches. The gold-filled case is without any wear. This uncommon watch retains the original silver dial, hands, and winding crown. The aging on the dial is much less visible with the naked eye. We assure you, this dial looks much cleaner in person. We love the look of the engine-turned portions of the bezel along with the polished portions, almost like a 1950s hotel sign one would see on Route 66. The manual winding caliber 777 movement was recently serviced (cleaned) by our watchmaker and is accurately keeping time.
