Description
This is a rare Omega Speedmaster ref. CK 2998-2 dating to 1960. This, of course is the straight-lug, early version of the Speedmaster. This (original to the watch) caliber 321 movement was just cleaned and is accurate. The original bezel is still present. The rare and original lollipop chronograph hand and Dauphine hands are also still present. At one time, the three chronograph hands were replaced during a servicing. This is rather common and accepted by many collectors. The dial is very clean and also completely original to the watch. The seahorse logo has worn away from the case back. These ref. CK 2998 Speedmasters are very hard to find!
