This is a 1960 Rolex Explorer Date with a 34.5mm stainless steel case with solid-gold bezel and matching crown are without and major dings or scratches. This watch was produced for a short duration. The gold original dial with arrow markers, along with original Dauphine hands looks excellent for the age of this watch. Only the lume material has been updated at some time in the past. The Explorer Date is an uncommon dress Explorer, which was marketed and sold mainly in Canada and the U.K. The Air-King Date was another uncommon variety marketed at the same time and also sold mainly in Canada and the U.K. The automatic winding Rolex movement was just cleaned and is accurate.
