Description
This is a fine, early, and uncommon 1960 Tudor Oyster-Prince, known as the “Tuxedo” (a name we coined over a decade ago) with a striking bullseye, quadrant, pie-pan dial. The original radiating ribbed edges with steel markers lead your eye towards the black mid-section, having silver gilt print, steel Dauphine-style hands, sweep seconds, and the Tudor rose insignia – all original with spotting that only appears close-up. The 33.5mm stainless steel Rolex Oyster case has the original Rolex winding crown, and rare inwardly curved ‘bombe’ lugs.
