Description
This is a men’s 1960s Borel cocktail watch measuring a modest 32mm in its gold-plated case with elbow lugs and original signed crown. The dial is quite mesmerizing, with the kaleidoscope-rotating middle section, creating quite a hypnotic display as it spins. It is aligned with the ticking of the manual winding Swiss movement, which was just serviced and is accurate. The red arrows are attached to other parts of the disc, indicating the hours and minutes. The skeleton case allows for viewing of the movement on the rear. Only the smallest nick in the lower lug is present, which is expected due to the 40-year-old age of this watch. The patina on the case can easily be hand-polished away. We like to leave original patina! These watches are very cool.
