Description
This is a very rare vintage 1960s Favre-Leuba Sea-Sky chronograph that is truly massive, measuring 41.5mm across and very thick at 15mm! The black dial and hands are completely original and have taken on an even and spectacular patina over the last 40 years of ‘suntanning.’ The movement is the famous and fabulous Valjoux 72 manual winding, which has been cleaned and is accurately keeping time with all functions working perfectly. The massive stainless steel screw-back case displays fine overall condition. The turning bezel is completely original. I have to stress that the chunky size of this watch really is impressive! Favre-Leuba is one of the world’s oldest watch companies.
