Along with the papers, the son of the owner has sent photocopies of his dad’s military service, photos of the owner, and notes from WW2 along with the original strap he wore on this watch. The original stretch bracelet that was sold with this Airman is also included. The dial, hands, and setting crowns are all original and amazing to gaze upon. The pressure case back and all its writing have not been overpolished and is crystal clear. The turning bezel is perfect and original. This watch was stored for decades and is one of the finest examples you will discover. The hacking seconds is operating precisely after a recent meticulous movement overhaul.
