Description
This is an original example of an early 1960s pre-Carrera Heuer ref. 2444 chronograph. The 36mm stainless steel Heuer screw-back case looks great. The fine Valjoux 72 manual winding movement was just cleaned, is accurate, and all chronograph functions are flawless. I think the large and easy-to-read chronograph registers make this a very fine auto racing tool watch. This original dial with light patina, original dagger hands and lume, make this watch collector-grade. I find this chronograph to be one of the easiest to read. I think these early Heuer chronograph vintage watches are underappreciated and undervalued presently.
