Description
Look at this extremely uncommon, chunky, 1960s 37×42.5x12mm LeCoultre manual winding chronograph! The signed (LeCoultre) stainless steel original case with screw back and polished pushers is very clean and shimmering. The original and striking grey dial with gold sub-registers, baton hands, and sweep seconds is in fine condition with only a minor mark near 3:00 that is barely noticeable with the naked eye. This dial alternated from light to dark grey depending upon the light. The wide gold bezel adds further appeal. The famous, high-quality manual winding Valjoux 72 (signed LeCoultre) original movement was recently overhauled with all functions working smoothly and perfectly. The dial has three large subdials at 9:00 for the constantly running seconds, 3:00 is the 30-minute chronograph counter, and located at 6:00 is a 12-hour counter. I cannot stress how uncommon these vintage LeCoultre chronographs are.
