It is always interesting to find watches that emulated the top brands in an era. This Rodania Swiss-made vintage dive watch was rated to 200m and looked very similar to the Omega 300 and the Rolex Submariner in the mid-1960s. The lume, 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, 9:00 dial with large military style hands still glow against the sheen of the glossy, black original dial. The manual winding 17-jewel Rodania movement was recently cleaned and is accurate. The 37.5mm stainless steel case is very fine overall, having a screwed back. The bi-directional turning bezel is in very fine shape. Please don’t get this watch wet. Unlike its competition at the time, the seals are not available to keep it watertight.
