Description
This 35mm solid-gold circa 1960s Timex Dorado Electric is quite rare, all original, and was preserved as if in a time capsule and comes complete with box, all papers, and hangtag! The silver (original) dial is virtually flawless without a mark on it. The 14k yellow-gold case is also pristine. The Electric movement by Timex was very expensive to produce at this early stage in electric-watch manufacturing, with the watch priced at $125 when new. This Timex electric movement is keeping very accurate time. This is a very rare Timex being solid 14k gold. This watch was only produced in 1968-1969 and was the only solid-gold watch produced by Timex, excluding the Disney Mickey Mouse watch. I don’t know of another available on the net anywhere in the world as of the day we posted this watch.
