Description
This 36.5x42mm vintage 1960s Wakmann Nautoscaph dive watch is rather uncommon. This watch was designed to be submerged up to 300m and is a true dive watch from the era. The turning bezel is original. The dial and hands are also original. Notice the amazing font in the word “Superautomatic.” The automatic winding movement made by Alstater is correct for the watch – it was just cleaned and is accurate. Richard Dreyfus plays a young oceanographer named Matt Hooper in the movie Jaws and wore this similar watch in the movie. This watch is pretty cool-looking on the wrist.
