Description
We are pleased to find this rather uncommon Hamilton Electric Vega housed in an eccentric, trapezoidal, gold-filled case (without wear) and having an engine-turned pattern on the dial and lugs. This watch was produced for only two years with estimated production of 4800. The case is quite striking and modern in its design, which was certainly far ahead of its time. The caliber 505 Hamilton Electric movement is quite accurate. The dial has been restored at some point in the past. This watch has radiating lines extended from the middle, red-tipped sweep seconds, and raised, gold-toned markers. This circa 1962 Hamilton also retains its original winding crown and very rare expansion bracelet with matching engine-turned pattern.
