Description
Here is an uncommon 1963 Omega Seamaster 30. This is one of the first of the specially named Omegas, others being named the Seamaster 60, 300 etc. We do not often see the 30 appear. This is a larger-sized watch, measuring 35mm across and a sleek 10.9mm thin. This watch is mostly dial, so it appears larger on the wrist. Speaking of the dial, this one is all original and has acquired a fine patina over the years. This patina is evenly distributed through the dial. That is a reflection in the upper portion, the watch is all evenly ‘creamy’ throughout. The original hands are enhanced with black inlay. The Omega winding crown and signed hesalite crystal are both present. The sea-monster logo on the case back is still clear. This gilded Omega caliber 286 movement gleams! We recently had it cleaned and it is accurately keeping time. I really love the entire look of this simple hard-to-find and classic Omega!
