Description
This 1964 vintage Favre-Leuba Deep Blue is an absolutely amazing-looking and very rare vintage dive watch that comes complete with the original box and papers and truly looks new. Interestingly, Favre-Leuba is one of the world’s oldest watch companies that has operated since 1718. The 40mm stainless steel case was restored by the finest case restorer we know anywhere in the world. The case is like a mirror and retains the original oversized (signed) screw-down winding crown. The Swiss-made, very fine bracelet is also like new. The exotic blue dial, with multi-coloured accents, checkerboard rotating dive bezel, original white (thick) hands, and red sweep seconds is without any major flaws. The automatic winding Favre-Leuba movement was fully disassembled and meticulously cleaned and is accurate.
