Description
This is very rare vintage circa 1964 Heuer Carrera Dato 45 that is the pinnacle of all Heuers! This spectacular and all-original watch exhibits perfect balance in shape, colour, and aesthetics. The original matte-black dial with white numerals, steel baton hands, markers with white sweep seconds, and blood-red date at 12:00 is mesmerizing to gaze upon – a slight brownish tone appears in certain light. The 35.5mm full-sized (12mm thick) Heuer Carrera case having polished pushers and extended lugs with screw back displays all-original condition. The original winding crown is present and correctly unsigned. The Landeron 189 manual winding movement was recently cleaned, overhauled, and is accurate with all chronograph functions working flawlessly. This version of the Carrera is the rarest, having the date at 12:00 and was amongst the first chronographs to offer this feature. This watch comes complete with an original, vintage Heuer leather band. These vintage bands were unsigned and correct to the watch. This rare Carrera will sell fast.
