Description
This 1964 Rolex Datejust ref. 1601 is 36mm of solid 18k yellow gold. The fluted bezel, pristine gold dial with Dauphine hands, and solid-gold case all look great. Notice the original inner box, and outer box with correct reference sticker, older service papers, and rare 1960s Datejust instruction booklet. This watch appears pristine on the wrist. There is only the slightest ding on the case rear, which is hardly visible. The caliber 1570 automatic movement was just cleaned and is accurate. It is uncommon to find a single-owner 1964 Rolex such as this.
