1965 Heuer Carrera Dato 45 Chronograph

Description

This is the last example we have of a very rare vintage circa 1965 Heuer Carrera Dato 45 that is the pinnacle of all Heuers! You can search the world and not find a finer (if any) example. This spectacular and all-original watch exhibits perfect balance in shape, colour, and aesthetics. The original silver dial, original steel baton hands, markers with white sweep seconds, and blood-red date at 12:00 is mesmerizing to gaze upon. The 35.5mm full-sized (12mm thick) Heuer Carrera case having polished pushers and extended gleaming lugs with screw back is in stellar, glistening condition. The Landeron 189 manual winding movement was recently cleaned, overhauled, and is accurate with all chronograph functions working flawlessly. This version of the Carrera is the rarest, having the date at 12:00 and was amongst the first chronographs to offer this feature.
