Description
Here is a fine example of an Omega Speedmaster caliber 321 vintage chronograph (ref. ST 105-003 65) with rare straight end lugs, and no crown guard dating to 1965. The entire watch exhibits very clean overall condition, with sea-monster writing on the case rear and an original winding crown. The caliber 321 (considered to be one of the best chronograph movements of all time) is keeping accurate time after a recent cleaning. The dial is original and very clean, having the raised Omega symbol at 12:00. The hour and minute hands were replaced at one time during a servicing. The original bezel and Omega crystal are present. The bracelet is a Mexican version, as that is where this watch was found. In real life, the bezel and dial look much cleaner than in our magnified pictures. The dial only displays aged lume, no marks are visible with the naked eye. These no-crown-guard Omega Speedmasters are becoming exceedingly rare.
