Description
This is a rare all-original Rolex Cosmograph Daytona from 1965. The original and extremely rare black Paul Newman dial with white sub-registers is as close to pristine as you will ever seek. The 37x13mm thick Rolex Oyster ref. 6239 case is pristine. The original Rolex Valjoux movement was recently cleaned and is functioning flawlessly. All markings and serial numbers are crystal clear. A newer Rolex Oyster bracelet is installed. This could be the finest example of a black-dial Paul Newman Daytona available anywhere.
