Description
Here is an uncommon and almost new-old-stock-condition 1966 35mm Omega Constellation in 18k solid gold with date in the cleanest condition we have ever found. This watch was hardly ever worn and was fully serviced by Omega in 2012 at a cost of over $1200! The heavy and solid 18k-gold case is ‘like-new’ and retains its original Omega winding crown. Omega installed a new high-quality signed band and gold-plated buckle at the repair depot. The automatic chronometer-grade 24-jewel caliber 561 movement is keeping accurate time – finely gilded, cleaned, and overhauled. This is amongst the cleanest movements we have ever found. The original silver dial with sleek and narrow baton markers and pencil hands lends a very modern look to this classic solid-gold Omega. This dial is stunning. The rare 18k-gold ‘C’ case is free of any major dings or scratches (some minor marks). These C-shaped Constellations are all the rage.
