Description
This is a fine, very rare, and large vintage 1967 Breitling Navitimer GMT ref. 812 measuring a huge 47.5mm with serial 1250xxx. Even when found in the automatic winding variation, this is a rare watch. The fact that this has the Valjoux 724 (manual winding) movement makes this an extremely rare and desirable piece. This watch is close to being on par with the ultra-collectable Valjoux 72 Breitling Navitimer ref. 806. This Breitling is completely original, including the vibrant dial, hands, and turning bezel. The print on the case rear is still visible – usually it has worn away due to Breitling’s faint imprint markings. The Valjoux 724 manual winding movement was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time and the chronograph is functioning perfectly.
