Description
This Heuer Carrera dates to about 1967 and is the first execution of the gold-plated ref. 2448T. These cases were not signed with ref. numbers but the serial number is clearly readable. The 35.5mm gold-plated case with steel back does not display any wear or damage. The movement is the manual winding Valjoux 72 and is amongst the most revered and robust. The original dial displays very fine condition and has the tachymeter scale in red. The hands are all original. This is a prime example of a 2448T that should not be overlooked.
