Description
This a very uncommon ref. 5701, 1986 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King-Date Precision stainless steel watch with original gold fluted bezel, and cleaned automatic movement. This is an uncommon variety of the Air-King that was sold mainly in Canada and Commonwealth countries only. The date is the feature making it uncommon, as the regular and common Air-Kings do not have the date. The 35mm stainless steel and gold case is quite clean with no major dings or scratches. The original silver dial is excellent, having raised, shimmering gold-toned baton markers and matching hands. The automatic winding caliber 1520 movement was just meticulously cleaned and overhauled by our Rolex-trained and authorized watchmaker and is keeping excellent time. This watch is very hard to find!
