This is a fine, large, and vintage 1968 Breitling Navitimer ref. 806 housed in the original stainless steel case, which displays absolutely spectacular condition. The massive, 40mm case really looks splendid and retains the original Breitling-logo winding crown. The manual winding Venus 178 movement is considered to be one of the the best made by Breitling. This one was fully cleaned and serviced with all functions operating flawlessly. The original dial, having gilt print and lume markers, is all original and very fine, as is the original inner turning sliderule and outer bezel. The hands are original – notice the lume matching to the lume numerals. These Breitling 806 watches are highly sought after, valuable, and ever-increasing in price due to their spectacular looks.
