Description
This 1968 34.5mm Omega Geneve Seamaster ref. 166.037 is a very rare bird. This is the first time I’ve found a Seamaster with the name ‘Geneve’ also on the dial. The original dial is absolutely perfect. Notice the quadrant lines, which are usually found on the Omega De Ville. The original hands and black inset markers look amazing. The original hard-to-find bubble-date Omega hesalite crystal is present. The original Omega winding crown is present. The gold-plated case with screw-down steel back displays amazingly preserved condition. The automatic winding caliber 565 movement was recently cleaned and is accurately keeping time. We purchased this watch from the family of the original owner. the son said his dad barely wore the watch. This is a very hard-to-find and collectable vintage Omega.
