Here is a very uncommon ref. 5700, Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King-Date Precision dating to 1968. This is an uncommon variety of Air-King that was sold mainly in Canada and Commonwealth countries only. The date is the feature making it uncommon, as the regular and common Air-Kings do not have the date. The 35mm stainless steel case displays very fine condition. On the wrist, this watch truly looks new! The original pewter dial is excellent, having raised, shimmering steel baton markers and matching hands. The cross-hatched patterned dial has a very tiny convex ding where the dial foot is positioned at three-minutes-before-12 mark, which is hardly visible. The automatic winding Rolex movement was just meticulously cleaned and overhauled by our watchmaker and is keeping excellent time.
