Description
This original Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner is a prime example, dating to 1968. The stainless steel case displays very fine, gently restored condition without any major dings or scratches. It was polished professionally, retaining as much of the edges as possible. The original fat-font bezel retains the original dot lume. The original dial and original hands look fantastic. The case and case back date to 1968 and are original. This was a single-owner watch. The lume was very dark, and in some places slightly lighter, which is quite common on these old Submariners. This Rolex caliber 1520 automatic movement was just cleaned and is accurate. Notice the high-dome crystal. The folded, fliplock Rolex Oyster bracelet looks great.
