Description
Sometimes you find a watch that is just simply cool. This late-1970s Atlantic Worldmaster is one I couldn’t take off my wrist. This watch came from a collector who bought it in the late 1970s and barely wore it. I’ve not seen another one of these watches until now. The unsigned mesh bracelet is original and-looking fine. The 38.75mm case is very interesting, having PVD-coated sides and steel, screw-fastened, polished bezel with steel screw back. This watch sits 11mm high, displaying a prominent look on the wrist. The original striking black dial with polished steel baton hands and orange sweep seconds speaks for itself. the PVD-coated crown is signed and original. The original crystal is mineral glass. The automatic Atlantic movement was just cleaned and features a quick-set day/date feature.
