Description
This is a vintage, 1970s, Elgin alarm watch in stainless steel, measuring 35mm across. One winding crown winds the Elgin manual winding movement, whilst the other winds the alarm mainspring. The mechanical alarm emits a warm-sounding buzz. Notice, the stainless steel screw back. The original azure-blue dial is very striking, having red and silver print, raised steel baton markers, hands, and date aperture. The steel case looks very good with only minor wear from normal use. We are including a complementing, blue snake-skin band that really sets off this vintage watch.
