1970s Enicar Automatic

Description

Here is a vintage, 1970s new-old-stock (nos) unused automatic winding Enicar watch from a jewelers estate! The interesting, hexagonal case is 38mm at the widest and 41.5mm long, having a shimmering, polished bezel and sides, with stainless steel screw back, signed Enicar winding crown. The band shown in my pictures was brittle from years of sitting in a safe, so we replaced it with black leather. The interesting brown/bronze dial is faceted in two areas extending vertically. It is equipped with baton markers and hands, as well as a day/date aperture that also displays how far into the week you are, the above picture shows four days into the week. The rotor, automatic winding (excellent quality) Swiss-made Enicar movement whirls around, sounding flawless, and is keeping time very well.
