The 1970s Glycine Airman “Pumpkin” SST vintage pilot’s watch was a premier choice by jet pilots in the era. These SST watches are less common than the earlier Glycine Airman models. This watch allows the owner to keep time in two different time zones. The hands only rotate once a day and display military time. These watches are huge in size, measuring a massive 42mm across. The two-tone (A.M.-P.M.) dial is original, as are the hands. The case is in very fine shape overall, with both crowns being original. The original bi-sected black and grey dial has the original hands and lume and is very clean. The movement was fully overhauled with the (pull-out crown) hacking function working perfectly. The Glycine Airman SST was used by many jet pilots throughout the world, due to its easy-to-read dial and handsome looks.
