Description
This is a very striking circa 1970 vintage Gruen chronograph in a gold-plated case with steel screw-back measuring 37mm. This watch appears much better when viewed in-person. The original dial is quite eye-catching; having pinkish 45 minute and black running seconds registers along with date aperture. Any aging of the dial appears much more subtle when viewed on the wrist. The manual winding Valjoux 7740 chronograph movement was just expensively serviced and is accurate. We have priced this fine Swiss watch very well.
