1970s Ladies Ebel

Description

This is a very fine and uncommon ladies 18k solid-gold vintage 1970s Ebel manual winding watch! This watch is quite attractive on the wrist, having a simple, bendable, 18k solid-gold bangle bracelet that simply clips onto a hook. The entire watch is 18k, and weighs 16.5g without the movement. In other words, it is not flimsy but is of fine quality and feel all around. The 23x23mm oval case is much larger than the average cocktail watch. It is easy to read with the original and classic gold dial with baton markers and matching gold hands. This Ebel will fit a small-to-medium ladies wrist, it fits me (a man) with a smaller wrist, so it should fit most ladies just fine. The manual winding Ebel movement is of fine quality; it was just cleaned in November 2007 and is keeping accurate time. The watch has some provenance as it was owned by the wife of one of London Ontario’s wealthiest. They donate millions per year to hospitals and charities, as well as the arts. It was purchased in Europe during the 1970s. The scratch on the crystal near 12:00 has been removed. This is one beautiful and uncommon vintage Ebel in 18k gold!
