1970s Ulysse Nardin

Description

This vintage, 1970s all-original ladies Ulysse Nardin sports watch is truly a rarity! Ulysse Nardin remained a mysterious company who produced very fine watches since 1846, and then vanished in the late 1970s, with all it’s production records “missing.” They were then revived in 1983, producing watches in the tens of thousands of dollars price range. Vintage Ulysse Nardin watches are highly sought after by many collectors. They were manufactured in limited numbers, making them even more elusive. This Ulysse measures 26.5mm, which is very similar to a ladies Rolex Oyster or Omega Constellation in size, from the 1970s. The quality of this watch rivals the finest of any sports watches made in the same era. The fully automatic, rotor winding movement was cleaned, serviced, and is accurate. The stainless steel case has only superficial marks from handling. We believe this watch was barely worn due to the fine condition of the original and signed Ulysse Nardin suede band. The crystal features a bubbledate magnifier (like the Rolex or Omega) and is scratchless! The winding crown is also original and unsigned. The original black dial, having white accents, orange accents, and baton hands is strikingly beautiful and lends a sporty, yet refined look!
