Description
This stainless steel Universal Geneve from the 1970s came from a jeweller’s old stock and is complete with the original hang tag, crown, and Universal-Geneve-logo stainless steel buckle. This watch measuring 36×41.6mm lug-to-lug was likely a ‘demo’ watch and was handled in the store and later, stored in a safe for many years. It has some tool marks on the case rear and minor marks on the case from years of hanging around a jewelry store. We just had the sparkling micro-rotor automatic winding Universal Geneve movement cleaned and it is accurate. The original dial and hands look great.
