Description
This is a rare and eccentric 1970s Waltham direct-read digital chronograph. The 38.5mm stainless steel case has a frosted case-side, polished bezel, pushers, and screw back. The smoke dial is original with a very unique configuration. It has a direct-read time, 60-minute counter, and chronograph hand with a date feature at 6:00. The red markers appear in five-minute increments and add to the overall exotic appeal. The automatic Waltham movement was cleaned and is accurate. The mineral-glass crystal has very minor marks that appear to be more visible in my close-up and bright pictures, but in real life, are much less visible. The band installed is the black Bund military style, which looks great!
