Description
This is a very rare and cool find. This is a 37.5×45.5mm 1971 special-edition watch produced by Longines-Wittnauer for the NFL; with only 30-35 produced. This watch comes with a signed original letter from the owner (Richard Dolce) who was the promotion manager for the National Football League. Pete Rozelle wanted to give each of the men in the league office and properties office a Christmas gift. This original dial was completely custom-made by Wittnauer; with the NFL shield and colours. The automatic Wittnauer movement was just cleaned and is accurate. The original case and original bracelet are both sparkling. This will fit close to a 7.75″ wrist.
