This is a 1971 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust stainless steel watch with defined, 14k solid-gold thunderbird bezel. This original dial is very clean overall with the exception of a couple of small marks. The caliber 1570, automatic winding movement was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time. This Rolex Datejust thunderbird is a true classic that has been steadily rising in value. We really love nostalgic inscriptions, as they really bring a watch to life. This Thunderbird was owned by Dr. Harry Shpiner from Boston, who practiced dentistry for 25 years and who died at 85 years of age in August of 1991.
